The Man Who Planted Trees
DVD PN 1997.5 . MM368 2002“Faith sees a beautiful blossom in a bulb, a lovely garden in a seed, and a giant oak in an acorn.” - William Arthur Ward
This beautiful film is an animated version of the story of one man dedicated to reviving the desolate landscape of Provence in the years spanning World War I and World War II. He plants 100 acorns per day and grows a tremendous forest. A great story of faith and accomplishment, exquisitely depicted.
